62576255Regina M. Chury, age 83, of Yardley, PA died Tuesday, January 22, 2012 at St. Mary Medical Center, Middletown Township, PA. Born in Pittston, PA, she lived in Hughestown, PA before moving to Yardley 30 years ago.

Mrs. Chury retired from working with the U.S. Government as an administrative assistant at the Tobyhanna Army Depot. She was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE), a former volunteer at St. Mary Medical Center, and a member of the Middletown Senior Citizens. Regina was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Yardley, who enjoyed being outdoors, especially working in her yard.

Daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Baumgartner) Dehner, and wife of the late Edward Chury, she is survived by a sister Rosemary Groark of Fairless Hills, PA, a brother, Carl Dehner of Champion, MI, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her funeral mass at 11 AM on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 728 Big Oak Rd., Yardley, PA. Interment will follow at 2:30 PM at St. Mary Assumption Cemetery, Hughestown, PA

Friends may call Monday evening from 7-9 PM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA.

Joe worked for the Department of Defense as a pipe fitter.

His hobbies included hunting, fishing, throwing darts and shooting pool.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Son of the late John Laurence, he is survived by his mother, Teresa (Damico) Laurence; his four sisters, Patricia Marcolongo, Theresa Dougherty, Ellen Laurence, and Sister Irene Laurence; and one brother, John Laurence. He is also survived by his former spouse, Jackie Laurence; three children, Joseph, Jackie and Janine Laurence; grandchildren, Patrick Brophy, Olivia Laurence, Justin and Brandon Barret; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 16 at St. John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Rd., Morrisville, PA 19067. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects starting at 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass at the church. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.

Born in Upper Darby, Pa., he had been a Yardley resident for the past 25 years.

Mr. Daly was an insurance broker with Kistler Tiffany Benefits in King of Prussia, Pa.

He was graduated from Temple University, and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and the Air National Guard from 1972 to 1982.

Ed was a passionate sports fan, especially for football and playing golf. He enjoyed coaching Pop Warner football and, later, his children’s sports teams. Ed could often be seen out to breakfast with his kids or on a trip with his wife. He was a longtime member of the Yardley Country Club, the American Legion, the Pros from Dover, and St. John the Evangelist Parish.

He is survived by his wife, Peg Mautz Daly; two children, Sean G. Daly and Bridget K. Daly. He also is survived by a large and loving extended family including, Veronica Daly, Jeep Muchorski, Pat Daly and their families; his father-in-law, Joseph Mautz, and the Mautz family.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Monday, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Road in Lower Makefield. Private interment will be held in Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, at FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley.
