Thomas G. Kilroy passed away in Florida Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, after a brief illness.

He was born Christmas Day, 1926, in Barnsville, Pa. Tom graduated from Mahanoy Township High School in 1944, and went into military service as a Naval Air Cadet.
He then continued his education, graduating from East Stroudsburg College and Drexel University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He spent his career with RCA and GE.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joan (Havard); his children, Lois, Tom Jr. and his wife, Denise, and Jay and his wife, Marissa. He was Poppy to his five grandchildren, Shanna, Thomas, Lauren, Dylan, and Hailey; and brother to Ann, Pat, and the late Jim.

He loved golfing, and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.

Calling hours will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, with a funeral Mass to follow at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 728 Big Oak Road, Morrisville. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

Jay F. Young Jr. of Morrisville died Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, at St. Mary Medical Center. He was 68.

He was the loving husband for 45 years of Linda, who passed in 2014.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Dorothy Klaczak and Jay F. Young Sr.

Jay had been employed as an environmental engineer at PSC Inc in Hatfield.

Jay was a caring father, and devoted husband, who will forever be missed by his family.

He is survived by his children, Christine, Jay Aaron, and Stephen Young, and his sister, Karen Cuhn.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass, 12 noon, Thursday, Feb. 19, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville. Interment will be held privately.
