Andrew D. Hadalski

Col. Andrew D. Hadalski, U.S. Air Force, Retired, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017, at his home. He was 85.

Born in Ashland, Pa., son of the late John and Theresa Hadalski, he was a Morrisville resident for the past 21 years.

Col. Hadalski served in the U.S. Air Force as a chaplain for 21 years, and was stationed at bases in Japan, Germany, Guam, and various locations around the United States. Andrew was ordained a priest in Techny, Ill., in 1959, served as chaplain and Dean of Students at the Divine Word Missionary in East Troy, Wis., and worked as a chaplain and counselor for eight years at the Garden State Youth Correctional Facility.

He was a life member of V.F.W. Post No. 6393, the American Legion Post No. 0317, and the Disabled American Veterans. 

He is survived by his wife, Judy (Schnepp); three sons, Christopher Vogt and his wife, Antoinette, Daniel Vogt, and Michael Vogt and his wife, Nicole; 11 grandchildren, Christine Kelly, Amanda Burnett, Brittany Alley, Erika, Lauren, MacKenzie, Ryan, Jake, Elena and Alex Vogt, and L.J. Nelson. He also is survived by 10 great grandchildren; three nephews, John, Mark, and David Hadalski; and one niece, Karen Novack. Andrew was preceded in death by his brother, John Hadalski and his wife, Lillian, and one sister, Regina Hepner.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 27, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will be held at a later date in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
