The world lost a beautiful, beloved woman on Jan. 28, 2013 when the angels took Antonia Kreutzer, who died peacefully at her ‘Villa’ with her family. Antonia lost her battle with breast cancer at the age of 82.
Antonia was born on March 30, 1930 in Zenta, Yugoslovia.
She immigrated to the U.S. in 1956 with her husband, Karl, and her daughter, Ruth, to join her parents, Aurelia and Peter Grueling.
Antonia was an accomplished professional seamstress her entire life.
In 1951, she married the love of her life, Karl and had three children, Ruth Kreutzer Herbert, Karl Kreutzer Jr. and Robert Kreutzer.
Her son, Robert, married Barbara Ovington and they gave Antonia her two cherished grandchildren, Nicholas William and Braeden Austin Karl Kreutzer, who were the lights of her life.
Living in Holland, Pa. for 35 years, she lived in the house of her dreams that was built by her family and friends.
She resided in Yardley for the past seven years.
Antonia spent many years as an active member of the United German Hungarian Club where she was one of the founding members of the cultural group of the club.
She was also an active member of the Phoenix Sport Club Ladies Auxiliary.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 2 at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 752 Big Oak Rd, Yardley, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at a later date.
