Anthony P. ‘Tony’ Natale passed away Monday, June 17, 2013. He was 88.

A Trenton native and Lower Makefield resident, Anthony is survived by his wife, Frances (Daloisio); his two sons, Robert (Barbara) and John; his three grandchildren, Jennifer, Gina, and Mark (Shannon Prendergast), and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dominick and Maria (Porfirio) Natale, and dear brother Concezio ‘Mike’ Natale.

Born in the Chambersburg section of Trenton, Tony graduated from Trenton Catholic High School before serving in World War II, landing on Anzio beachhead. Upon leaving the service in 1951, he married Frances.

Anthony worked at U.S. Steel while getting his undergraduate degree from Villanova University in 1973. Tony received his MBA from Rider College in 1979 and he embarked on a long career with the State of New Jersey and as an adjunct professor for the then Trenton State College and Thomas Edison College. He was most proud of his education, and teaching was his true passion.

Tony enjoyed traveling with Fran, and Fran’s home cooking. He cherished the time spent with his sons, enjoying his long conversations with Bob and his Saturday mornings with John and being with his ‘third son’ Paul (Laurie) DeUmberto.

He was a proud 4th degree member of the St. John the Evangelist Knights of Columbus Council 7515.

Never short for a story, Tony’s favorite times were spent around the dinner table with his family.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lower Makefield, where friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hamilton Township, N.J.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville, PA 19067.
