545747a0a16c7.imageKaitlin Nicole Abel died suddenly Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014. She was 23.

Kate was full of life, happiness, and love, and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Kate was the beloved daughter of Tim and Kathy; and loving sister of Tim, Julianna, and Marissa Abel. She was granddaughter of Ronald and Frances Abel, and James and Kathleen Hughes. She also is survived by many cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

She was a graduate of St. John the Evangelist grade school and Villa Joseph Marie High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from LaSalle University. Kate spent her most recent days pursuing her dream of attending graduate school while balancing a variety of jobs, including Sesame Place, Ivy Rehabilitation Center, Starbucks, Brittingham’s Irish Pub & Restaurant, Magee Rehabilitation Center, and most recently, Bowers Physical Therapy.

It was Kate’s lifelong dream to become a physical therapist, but she never let her own goals stand in the way of spending time with others. Kaitlin made every interaction personal, a testament to her genuine care for others. She lived her life with a unique grace in her heart and a permanent smile on her face.

Kaitlin’s family and friends are invited to her viewing from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville, PA 19067. A funeral Mass will follow at noon.
