Born in the Bronx, N.Y., daughter of the late Joseph and Esther Mayersky, she had been a Lower Makefield resident for the past 50 years.
Mary was a member of St. John the Evangelist Parish, supporting church activities, helping with bingo and in the cafeteria. She was a St. Mary Medical Center volunteer for many years. She enjoyed her family, sewing and gardening.
Wife of the late Rudolph M. Lago, she is survived six children and their spouses, Marianne and William Ziegler of Langhorne, Pa., Michael W. Lago of Lawrence Township, N.J., Thomas and Charlotte Lago of Houston, Texas, Joan C. and John Shipp of Bristol, Pa., Rudolph P. and Eileen Lago of Trabuco Canyon, Calif., and Joseph A. Lago of Lower Makefield Township, Pa.; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. John the Evangelist Church in Lower Makefield. Burial will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Friends may call from 8 to 9:15 a.m. on Thursday at FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, Pa.
