Timothy J. Fitz-Maurice, age 57, of Yardley, PA, died on June 8, 2017 at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne, PA. Born in Bristol, PA, Tim had been a lifelong area resident.
He was a graduate of Pennsbury High School, Class of 1977, where he enjoyed playing football and baseball. Mr. Fitz-Maurice was employed as an outside salesperson with Freedom Millwork in Pipersville, PA for the past 2 years. Tim was an avid sports fan, enjoyed fishing and hanging out with his kids and grandkids.
Son of the late James Fitz-Maurice, and brother of the late Brian Fitz-Maurice, he is survived by his mother Elinor (Hurst) Fitz-Maurice, his son Kevin J.Fitz-Maurice of Yardley, two daughters and a son-in-law Leah and Jason Vegotsky of Lower Makefield, and Alexis Fitz-Maurice of Lower Makefield, two brothers and sisters-in-law James and Lizbeth Fitz-Maurice of Morrisville and Jeff and Karen Fitz-Maurice of Newtown, PA, three grandchildren, Chase, Mackenzie and Everly Vegotsky, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Tuesday evening from 7-9 PM at the J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville, PA. His funeral mass will be celebrated 10 AM at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 758 Big Oak Rd., Morrisville, PA. His interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
