569e104fc7a5b.imageMadeline V. Ragolia Scurti of Falls Township passed away Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016, at Aria Health Bucks. She was 84.

Born in Hartley, Del., a daughter of Joseph J. Ragolia and Mary Fasnella Ragolia, she had resided in Falls Township for the past 55 years.

Madeline graduated from West Chester, and was a member of the West Chester Alumni Association. She was an elementary school teacher in the Pennsbury School District before she married and started a family.

She was a founding and 50-year member of St. John the Evangelist Parish, where she was a member of the Adoration Society.

Wife of the late Salvatore V. Scurti, she is survived by three sons and a daughter, Nicholas A. Scurti of Bristol, Joseph J. Scurti of Bensalem, and John V. and Deirdre Scurti of Morrisville, and Mary Lou Scurti Wilson and Mike Wilson; two brothers, Anthony J. Ragolia of Yardley, and Joseph J. Ragolia Jr. of Panama City, Fla.; two sisters, Lucy Van Ness of Morrisville, and Margaret M. Smith of Pottstown, Pa.; eight grandchildren, Angela, John, Salvatore, Joseph and Jacob Scurti, and Michael, Lisa and Matthew Wilson; two great-grandchildren, Alex Peters and John T. Scurti; and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday,January 22nd at St. John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Road in Lower Makefield Township, where friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

569232c6c4a27.imageJean Lorraine (Rhodes) Linkus of Yardley died peacefully Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016, surrounded by her family, at Chandler Hall Hospice. She was 90.

Born Nov. 20, 1925, in Shamokin, Pa., she was a longtime resident of Bucks County.

After raising her children, she returned to work at AT&T from where she retired in 1986.

Jean was an avid reader and Bridge player. She enjoyed travelling, long walks on the beach with her husband, Joe, and her garden.

Preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Joseph A. Linkus, Jean is survived by her son, Joseph ‘Tim’ Linkus (Sylvia) of Lower Makefield, and daughter, Barbara Corrado (Frank) of Washington Crossing.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 11, in St. John the Evangelist Church, 728 Big Oak Road, Yardley, PA 19067. Interment will follow in Newtown Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jean’s name may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Frances (Daloisio) Natale passed away Sunday, Jan. 3, 2016. She was 87.

Born and raised in Trenton, N.J., she was the wife of the late Anthony P. Natale; mother of Robert (Barbara), and John. She was the proud grandmother of Jennifer, Mark (Shannon) and Gina; and beloved aunt of Paul (Laurie) DeUmberto, Ralph (Yvonne) Daloisio, Carleen (John) Burrows and Charles (Dawn) Daloisio. She was preceded in death by brother, Ralph Daloisio (Patricia); and her sister, Rose DeUmberto (Paul).

After graduating from Trenton Central High School, Frances was an employee of the State of New Jersey, Department of Treasury and Budget for over 45 years. She was a long time resident of Yardley, and a member of St. John the Evangelist parish in Lower Makefield.

Frances enjoyed traveling, being involved in her church and spending time with her family. She will be remembered dearly as the host of countless family dinners, and loved nothing more than cooking for family members and friends.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lower Makefield, where friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hamilton Township, N.J.
