Donald Edward Masselle

Donald A. Masselle passed away at his home on Monday, Oct. 16, 2017. He was 85.

He was born in Kensington, Conn. and had been a longtime resident of Yardley. Donald served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He graduated from Rider College with a degree in Business Administration.

He worked in the plastics industry for many years, retiring in 1997.

Donald was an avid sports fan. He loved going to the beach with his family, traveling with his wife, and most importantly, he loved to spend time with his family.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Rita Masselle; his three sons, Steven Masselle (Sharon) of Yardley, Dave Masselle (Elise) of Yardley and Tom Masselle (Kelly) of Harleysville; his six grandchildren, Shayna Davis (Michael), Rachel Masselle, Matthew Masselle, Andrew Masselle, Skylar Masselle and Nicole Masselle. He is also survived by his brother, Franklin Masselle, and his sister, Janice Reale.

Family and friends will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Rd., Morrisville, PA 19067, where his funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
