20140715_131706386_20Alphonse S. Kupiec of Morrisville passed away peacefully Sunday, July, 13, 2014, at his home. 86 He was born in, and a lifelong resident of, Morrisville.

Prior to his retirement, Mr. Kupiec was employed as a tool and die maker with General Motors Fisher Guide Division in Ewing Township for more than 40 years.

He was a proud U.S. Army veteran of World War II; a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church; and a member of the Auto Workers Union.

Mr. Kupiec was an avid gardener, who enjoyed bowling and woodworking.

Son of the late Joseph and Eva (Dobrowolska) Kupiec, he is survived by his loving wife, Rose H. (Strycharz) Kupiec; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert J. and Susan M. Kupiec of Doylestown; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his funeral Mass at 9 a.m. Thursday, July 17, at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville. Interment will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Thursday, at J. Allen Hooper Funeral Chapel, 41 W. Trenton Ave., Morrisville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Kupiec’s name may be made to the National Parkinson’s Foundation, 330 S 9th St 3rd Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
