Marie A. (Blair) McKenna of Langhorne, passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 2, 2013, at St. Mary Medical Center, Langhorne. She was 81.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. William T. McKenna.

 Marie was born and raised in Port Richmond, Philadelphia and was a graduate of Little Flower High School. Marie managed her husband’s Family Medical practice in Lower Makefield for 30 years.

She is survived by her loving sons and daughters and their spouses, Thomas (Kathleen) McKenna, Marie Larkin, Julia (Patrick) Jones, Kathleen (Charles) Rauchut, William (Cindy) McKenna, Robert (Christine) McKenna, Kevin (Christy) McKenna; twenty grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; a sister, Katherine McCarthy.

Calling hours will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, at the Burns Funeral Home, 1514 Woodbourne Road, Levittown. Mass of Catholic burial to be held 1 p.m., Friday, Dec. 6, at St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Yardley, followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery, 5201 Hulme-ville Road, Bensalem.

150x234-2334474Marie H. (Gannon) Kolanko, died on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013. She was 82.

Born in Philadelphia to the late Helen (Cassidy) and John Gannon, Marie was a resident of Upper Southampton, since 1967.

Marie was the beloved wife of the late Frank J. Kolanko; loving mother of Kathleen Greway (John), Helene, Frank (Kathleen), Laurie Anne Wajda (George), and Amy Ruta (Sam); proud grandmother of Samuel, Mary Paige, Erin, Isabella, Frankie, Sal, Jamie, Nolan, Crosby, Rocco, and the late Vincent.

Marie’s family will receive relatives and friends from 9:30 to 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 16, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Yardley, Pa. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Marie will be laid to rest in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bucks County Association for the Blind, 400 Freedom Dr. Newtown, PA 18940.

2290357John C. Jenca, Jr., of Yardley died peacefully on October 19, 2013 at Manor Care of Yardley. He was 83.

Born in Philadelphia to the late John Jenca and Eleanore Distler, he was a resident of Lower Bucks County for 60 years.

A graduate of Frankford High School, he served in the U. S. Naval Reserves for 12 years. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist R. C. Church in Lower Makefield and served as an usher there for many years. He was a life-long Phillies fan. In his younger years he played baseball and was a great second baseman.

John worked in the dry cleaning business for 30 years and then at Clarke Checks, Inc., from which he retired in 1991.

He was the beloved husband of Nancy E. Jenca and the father of Joseph J. Jenca and his wife Patricia of Yardley. He was the proud grandfather of Scott J. Jenca. Also surviving are his brother George G. Jenca of Langhorne and several nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 10 until 11 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown where his Funeral Service will be held at 11 am. Rite of Committal will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
